Η κάμερα είναι εγκατεστημένη στο νησί της Μήλου και συγκεκριμένα στις Πλάκες Μήλου σε υψόμετρο 135 μέτρων. Έχει δυτικό βορειοδυτικό προσανατολισμό και βλέπει προς την παραλία της Πλαθένιας, στο βάθος βλέπουμε το ακατοίκητο νησί της Αντιμήλου (γνωστή κ ως Ερημόμηλος με τους σπάνιους αίγαγρους), ενώ όταν έχει καθαρό καιρό βλέπουμε και τις Σπέτσες.
